I had a delightful stay at The Prince in Karuizawa. The location was perfect, nestled in beautiful Japanese mountainside, offering a quiet and serene atmosphere. The hotel itself was charming and the guest room had a stunning view of a pond, trees, and mountains. The New York Buffet in another part of the compound was a great dining option and served delicious food at a more affordable price. The breakfast at the hotel was also enjoyable, served in a lovely glass enclosed room. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

During Christmas, we stayed at a hotel nearby the skiing area. The ski school was cheap and staying at this hotel offered discounts on equipment rental and lift tickets, which was great. children 10 and under could ride the lifts for free. The nearby open mall was a convenient spot for food and drinks, and the shuttle service was free.
The hotel was old, and the soundproofing was severely lacking. We could hear everything that was happening in the rooms beside us, which made it hard to sleep.

Had a great Christmas stay at a ski resort with good facilities and friendly staff. Cottage was right by the slopes and close to shops and restaurants. Free hot spring access was a bonus after a day on the slopes.
Shuttle service was not reliable and staff at the front desk could have been more helpful.

We stayed in a hotel located in the mountains, right next to the slope, which provided breathtaking views of the lake and mountain from every room. The staff was helpful, and the housekeeping kept the rooms clean and well maintained. Shuttle buses were available to transport guests to and from the station, other Prince hotels, and the ski resort shopping outlet. The room was spacious and the floor heating was impressive, providing much-needed warmth during the winter.
One small negative was that parking was chargeable to hotel guests in a seemingly ample location, which was unusual for out-of-town hotels.

This hotel boasts exclusive amenities that make you feel truly pampered. The location is perfect, with easy access to a shopping center and ski field. The shuttle bus is a nice touch. The renovated bathroom and the Android phone are fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and the internet worked well.
Our room was not quite as luxurious as we were expecting. The beds were soft and lumpy and the walls were thin, making it easy to hear noisy guests passing by in the corridor.

I had an amazing time staying at the hotel. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the cleanliness of my room which was well-kept by housekeeping. The hotel provided free shuttle buses every half an hour, which made transportation around the designated area convenient. Additionally, this hotel was situated close to the shopping mall and skiing facilities, which was ideal for me.
Nothing not to love.
